The best story a Grandpa could hear from 3000 miles away, I'm still laughing and retelling the story.

We used to live in this really old house that had locks on the bedroom doors that were easy for a toddler to lock without knowing what they were doing. One evening, I went out for a girl's night out and came back to find a giant hole in my son's bedroom door. Story? The boys had locked themselves in Ryan's room but couldn't figure out how to get out. Mr. Army Dad could only think of one way to get them out--PUNCH A HOLE IN THE DOOR! I was like "how about asking them to just turn the freaking knob?" which would have unlocked the door! Hee hee.
