Unexpected Gifts
We live near a church and recently somebody must have set a sippy cup down on our sidewalk as they loaded a baby into their car. The sippy cup sat there for a couple of days because we wondered if the parents might return for it.
Still, as newly expecting parents of a surprise baby, we kept eyeing that sippy cup. Was it a sign from God that the items we needed would start showing up in our front yard? Suh-weet!!
Finally one day, Dave looked out at the lone cup and broke our silence.
He said, simply, “Do you think they left a crib?”

I am the writer/owner of ‘MA! motherhood with attitude.’ The artist/owner of our company, Tiffany, will add her two cents on this blog now and then, as well. Tiffany and I often talk about the struggle to earn a buck through our freelancing as we also try to make the ‘MA! dream’ come true. Our mission is to expose ‘perfect parenting propaganda’ for what it is: hogwash! We adore imperfect parents (and embrace the fact that we are among them.)
…or maybe a 3 year supply of Pampers??
