MA! motherhood with attitude, LLC was established to support mothers in their journey. At the heart of our mission is the belief that we should always give back to the community that supports us.

From MA’s inception, we planned to partner with a nonprofit organization and share a percentage of our profits with it. Well, that nonprofit found us.

On July 2, we received an email from Tracy, co-founder of A Mother’s Wings. She explained that she had faced severe postpartum depression after the birth of her first child and she was astonished at the lack of support offered by the medical community and society in general. Tracy and fellow mom Carla decided to do something about that deficiency and started A Mother’s Wings.

Our company creates cards and gifts that help moms express the myriad emotions they face. We also believe that ‘perfect parenting propaganda’ is detrimental to mommy sanity.

Both of us — Janalee and Tiffany — have faced depression in motherhood: Tiffany in her quest for a baby and Janalee after having her second. From the day we met and started planning our company, we knew we wanted to give back to a nonprofit organization that served mothers. A Mother’s Wings is a perfect fit.

So now, every MA! purchase not only makes us happy, but support moms facing PPD!
