Moms Not Only Love Us… They Need Us!

Testimonials

(She writes like a mom with a lot to get done! Don’t we all? Here’s a translation.)

Janalee and Tiffany,
I know this note is completely overdue, but I still wanted to thank you for your kindness in thinking of us and sending one of your adorable box sets. I have lots of notes to write, even though I’m usually behind, but they are definitely appreciated. Thanks again.
Best,
Trista Sutter and Max

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Did I say thanks? This week has been one of the hardest in my eight-month career as a stay-at-home mom. I had started thinking, ‘Do I just suck at this?’ I finally started looking for mommy websites and came to yours. I suddenly feel somewhat normal. My tiredness, lack of makeup, crazy messy house, and one-minute showers don’t feel so alienating right now. So thanks for making that all OK.

Thanks for bringing the spotlight to the realities of motherhood. All those June Cleavers and Carol Bradys really gave the world (including my dear husband) a false impression of what all is entailed in the daily rituals of raising a family. I find myself inspired.
– Jody

You guys rock! I laughed really hard and completely agree with you about motherhood. It’s refreshing to have some honesty with some humor.
– Dilyn

I just discovered your website and it literally made me LOL!!! As a stay-at-home mother of two under two, you spoke to my heart! Thanks for the laughs and I am going to have to purchase some cards!!!
– Bridget

Hah! I love the fact that other mothers are telling the truth about mommy-hood now. My friends and I would LOVE to have your products in Binghamton, NY! Thanks for the “REAL” support :)
– Amy

I just had to drop you a note to let you know how incredibly REFRESHED I was to learn about your company. You two are truly “the real thing” when it comes to being a mom and how challenging this journey really is. I was in a very, very deep “funk” after having my daughter in 2004 and I think a lot of it was because I thought I was “supposed to love every blasted minute” of being a mom and I had SUCH OVERWHELMING GUILT because I was struggling so much. THANK YOU for making products that speak right to my heart. THANK YOU SO MUCH for being so real. Gems like you two are few and far between!!!
– Grace

Literally on my way up to the computer to log on to your site for the first time, I was met by my 2-year-old at the top of the stairs with “I pooped Mama. I pooped in brother room.” Not especially alarmed at this point, I walked by said brother’s room to see a large dark brown area on the nice beige carpet. Needless, to say I LOVE your site and can’t wait (after I clean the carpet) to look at all of it.
THANK YOU!
– Emily

Give Hallmark a run for their money..Go Ma Go!! I hope you expand quickly as I will NEVER purchase any kind of product from them again. You have some great cards!!
– Leona

I think you both have hit on a need for Mothers with your cards since, as you said, motherhood is more than the cute little ducks. Good luck with your venture!
– Jean

Your cards are absolutely wonderful and I think you will be very, very successful. I am WAAAYY past those early days of motherhood but just reading your cards brings all the memories flooding back. I plan to purchase some of these sassy, cutting-edge cards to have on hand for future use.
– “Grandma” Rita

I’m a Grandma now, but I had 3 little boys not so long ago, and in watching my kids with their kids, I’m reminded of those days. Reading your cards brings back memories as well…….YOU GO GIRLS! Keep up the great work!
– Sue

My daughter is a law student but I really appreciate your efforts now because I definitely felt crazy in my early Mom years. I never stopped absolutely adoring my child, but sometimes I felt that the job of being a Mom sucked…the loneliness, the frustration, the boredom of repetitive tasks. It practically saved my life one day when a woman looked at me and said “It gets better…” She’ll never know how much that meant to me, so now I say it to Moms when they look haggard. And I also pass out copious compliments when I see Moms coping with challenges. It’s such a rewarding but difficult job!
